This property is commonly and historically known as the “A.J. Swenson House.” It was built in 1905 by pioneering ranchman and early Stamford leader A.J. Swenson to be one of the community’s most prominent and important houses. It has suffered from neglect over the years, but it retains its unique architectural stylings and remains one of Stamford’s most important residences.
